Our goal is to help you develop early learning and social skills that will serve your dog well as they grow and mature into adult dogs.
What you will learn
In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of how dogs learn, how to motivate your dog, and how to properly manage your training environment to set your dog up for success. We'll introduce you to the concept of marker training, which is a powerful tool for building and proofing useful obedience behaviors.
We'll also help you develop problem-solving skills to address common issues with pet dogs, and we'll teach you how to avoid frustration and prevent the development of a reactive dog. By the end of the class, you'll have a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that will serve you and your dog well for years to come.
What you will be teaching your young dog
Your young dog will have the opportunity to learn to learn and develop handler engagement. They'll also learn a range of essential behaviors, including sit, automatic sit, sit-stay, sit-stay approach by stranger, recall, and heel on a loose leash.
In addition to learning these behaviors, your dog will practice proper behavior around humans and other dogs, developing their budding social skills under professional supervision.
