Day School Benefits:
Sending your dog to Sparks K9 for Day School is a lot like sending your child off to their local school each morning.
- Day School Programs are based on One Month Enrollment periods (space is limited).
- You drop your dog off at our training center each weekday morning and pick him up again in the evening.
- Your dog spends the day training with our professional staff and gets the added benefit of structured socialization and play (when appropriate) with other dogs throughout the day.
- At the end of the school day, you get a report on your dog's progression, as well as clear instructions on how to maintain and progress the training and learned behaviors in the evenings and weekends when your dog is back in your home.
- Each dog's training is tailored to his/her specific training needs and pre-determined training objectives.
- Dogs enrolled in our Day School programs will also be registered to attend an age-appropriate group class one day per week with their owners.

- While your dog is nearing or coming into sexual maturity, a lot of things change physiologically and psychologically. Most young dogs really test their owners patience and get into a lot of mischief at this age. They are not puppies anymore, nor are they mature adult dogs yet.
- There is no better place for your adolescent dog to learn and thrive than in our safe classroom environment and carefully selected "out in the field" training environments with our knowledgeable and experienced staff of trainers.
- Our Day School option is a great way to help segue your dog into maturity. Not only does your young dog spend all day each weekday learning from professional trainers, but you still get to spend your evenings and weekends working with your dog and deepening your relationship with him.
- You will be a partner in learning with and training your dog, as you will also be attending our 6 week Beginner Novice Group Class each Tuesday evening. Our professional staff will help your dog excel each weekday during the first four weeks (while your dog is at Day School); you will be responsible for setting proper expectations at home by maintaining and continuing with the training while your dog is home with you in the evenings and on the weekends.
